Normally at the first signs of Spring, Radio stations from near and far start running their pledge drives to help keep their stations on the air. Well I'm happy to say that my new CD "Heritage Blue" is in rotation on KFAI Radio, Minneapolis, MN on the program Rollin' and Tumblin' hosted by DJ: Jacquie "LadyJ Griot" Maddix. It's really amazing because I met Lady J about 5-6 years ago when I went to Minneapolis with an incredible woman by the name of Mary that I met in Mars Hill, NC while performing with a long time friend and pianist named Steve Cole. Now Mary, being from Minneapolis knew where all the happenings were in the city, and she was determined to get me out where she could sign me up to sing.
