Well, well, well, my Honey Bees! I'm walking on cloud nine since August 15, 2022, when I found out that one of the songs from my Heritage Blue CD entitled "Love On The Brain" took the #1 spot on the Canadian Teerex Radio's Hump Charts.
So much has been happening in the last couple of months, that I can barely keep up to write about it. Lol So, "Love On The Brain" started climbing the charts about a month ago starting at 48, then to 20, then to 19, then to 7, then to 3, and finally to number 1. I can't express to you how excited this makes me feel coming from an artist that never really thought about climbing the music charts. I know it sounds strange, but it's true. I've had a another song to climb the charts as well last year and the song reached #4, which that too for me was a first, and I certainly didn't expect it.
So, as they say now that I've gotten a taste of this, I'll probably start to send my songs in to different radio stations with the hopes of getting new Habaka lovers and possibly hitting the charts too. I've worked hard over the years and I'm truly grateful that people from around the world are starting to hear my music.
The Heritage Blue CD was recorded in 2016, and released in the European market and not really pushed in the US. Now, can you see my excitement?
