Habaka KFJ is a Bestselling Author, Award winning international vocalist, radio host, and storyteller known as “The Panther of Cremona, Italy”.   A four-octave singer with a global performance career, She has dedicated her artistry to preserving the emotional truth and legacy of the Blues.

Born into a rich musical lineage, Habaka is the daughter of a renowned saxophonist who spent more than two decades performing with blues icon B. B. King and previously served as bandleader for Bobby Blue Bland. Growing up surrounded by this legacy deeply shaped her connection to storytelling through music.

Expanding her voice beyond the stage, Habaka is now bestselling author and contributing voice in Voices of Care: Real Stories to Inspire, Uplift, and Unite Caregivers, compiled by Carl J. Powell. Her chapter, “I’m Not a Nurse,” shares her personal journey of caring for her father during one of the most vulnerable seasons of his life, offering an honest and heartfelt perspective on the strength and resilience of caregivers.

She is also a contributing author in the anthology Lanterns in the Dark: Stories of Survival, Scars, and Light, featuring an introduction by Betsy Chasse, (Award winning filmmaker  & #1 bestselling author) where she continues to explore themes of truth, survival, and reclaiming one’s voice.
